What you will be doing
As a Team Leader - Field Business Development, you will not only be responsible for acquiring and onboarding small independent businesses to Satispay's payment service platform to ensure the development of our SuperNetwork and to meet our ambitious growth plans, but you will also have a key role in coordinating and leading to success our Business Development Team in Roma.

The role is based in Roma, where - along with all the key people - as an active member of Satispay, you will have the chance to constantly share your personal ideas and recommendations to proactively contribute to create the best mobile payment experience and to shape the future of our Capital City.

As a Field Business Development Team Leader your main tasks will be:

  • New Business Development: identify, negotiate, and acquire strategic merchants by promoting our payment solutions in the assigned area to reach the target both the individual and your team’s one;
  • Team management: you will be responsible for the Field Business Developers who report to you, becoming the point of reference for their work path (onboarding, training, and mentoring);
  • Training: to train Field Business Developers of your Team, so that they will be autonomous in the performance of their work activities: from technical skills, to the individual organization of activities, to the management of priorities and the correct use of work tools provided by the company;
  • Performance management: monitoring and maximizing the performance of your team will be one of the most challenging goals. You will need to ensure that everyone is in a position to reach their individual target (through shadowing, 1:1, Team meetings, etc.);
  • Strategic planning: tracking and monitoring business development activities through our CRM system, analyzing performances and related trends to produce reports for management;
  • Collaboration with the Manager: offer support in defining the strategic actions to guarantee the development of the territory.

What we need
We are looking for a talented, proactive, and motivated Team Leader, who shares a passion for Satispay and believes that people are the foundation of healthy, enduring companies. You have:

  • 2+ years of proven experience as a Business Development Team Leader;
  • Interest in working on the field: this is a Field Business Development related role, so expect to spend time on the field visiting merchants in person (previous experience on the field will be a strong plus);
  • Commercial approach and excellent organizational and negotiation skills;
  • Propensity for people management, structured communication and empathy;
  • Great analytical skills with the ability to concretely turn data into insights and initiatives;
  • Strong inclination towards time management and tasks prioritization;
  • Good knowledge of GSuite and MS Office;
  • Excellent knowledge of Italian and English language;
  • Passion for FinTech. Previous experience in FinTech or Startup environments is a plus.

Logistic & Salary
The role is based in Roma, but it requires frequent business trips in Italy.

We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
