In this role you will join the electrical design department in Torino to define and verify electrical bonding and lightning protection requirements for aircraft structures and systems. You will work closely with airworthiness and design authorities to ensure compliant bonding, earthing, and protection against direct and indirect lightning effects. You will develop test plans, analyse results, and contribute to certification activities and wiring segregation decisions to minimise EMC interference. Responsabilità

Define electrical bonding requirements for grounding of structures, piping, and components
Define lightning protection requirements for direct effects on structures and onboard systems
Define lightning protection for indirect effects on cables, wiring and equipment
Define test requirements and test procedures; analyse results and prepare reports for experimental verification
Support aircraft test procedures for bonding and earthing definition
Support wiring segregation to minimise EMC interference
Support airworthiness certification activities and participate in EASA/DGAA meetings
Issue the SOD (design statement) for Lightning
Support design authorities for qualification and assist production in anomaly resolution
