As Strategy Director for the Automotive Catalyst unit in Hanau, you shape the BU’s long-term direction and translate group objectives into actionable roadmaps. You work with the Corporate Development Team and senior leaders to steer M&A, strategic projects, and transformation efforts. You’ll drive cross-functional alignment, provide high-level advisory, and help the group stay ahead in a rapidly evolving clean-mobility landscape. Responsabilità

Lead forward-looking strategic reflections for the AC business in the clean mobility space
Sponsor and steer cross-functional strategic projects with measurable impact
Provide group‑wide advisory on business strategy, M&A, and project management
Drive transversal initiatives and alignment across the Group
Contribute to Catalysis BG leadership discussions and decision-making
Develop BU strategies to enable sustainable growth and competitive positioning
Handle ad-hoc strategic assignments with high-quality analysis and recommendations
Foster collaboration with internal and external partners for effective implementation

Requisiti fondamentali

10 years of relevant professional experience (industrial materials, advanced materials, or specialty chemicals)
Master’s degree in a relevant field
5+ years in management or strategy consulting with project leadership
Fluent English and German (written and spoken)
Strong strategic insight, analytical ability, and project/people leadership
Hands-on experience in operational excellence, due diligence (buy- and sell-side), and strategy implementation
Experience in multi-cultural business environments
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build high-performing, diverse teams and adapt to changing contexts
