In this role you drive the design and implementation of enterprise data models based on Data Vault 2.0, guiding a Data Modeling Team to deliver scalable, business-ready solutions. You will collaborate with data engineers, stakeholders and visualization experts to align models with reporting and analytics needs. You shape modeling standards and promote data integrity, ethics, and transparency across the organization. This position offers cross-unit impact and opportunities to enable AI and BI initiatives through robust data models.
Responsabilità
- Lead and mentor a team of data modelers following Data Vault 2.0 principles
- Facilitate collaboration with subject matter experts and product owners to define business models
- Translate business models into logical and technical data models
- Coordinate with data engineers to ensure alignment with technology constraints
- Collaborate with visualization experts to meet reporting and analytics needs
- Establish modeling standards and conduct quality reviews
Requisiti fondamentali
- Proven experience leading data modeling teams in an enterprise environment
- Deep expertise in Data Vault 2.0 modeling (hubs, links, satellites)
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytics requirements
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, and visualization experts
- Excellent documentation and communication skills for diverse audiences
- Proficiency with automated data modeling and ETL tools
