Experteer Overview

In this role you contribute to railway software specification, architecture and development, collaborating with product designers, system engineers and hardware teams to define software requirements and interfaces. You ensure verifiability, traceability and RAM across the development cycle, and you select tools and environments to deliver robust, reusable software for railway systems. You will drive integration, testing and ongoing software sustainment within a global, cross-functional context.

Responsabilità

Contribute to product/system specification and architecture with design and system teams
Define software requirements, functional/operational/interfaces and RAM-related constraints
Ensure requirements are verifiable and traceable across the lifecycle
Define software architecture and allocate requirements to components
Determine interfaces, dynamic behavior and feasibility via modeling/simulations
Choose development tools, methodologies and coding standards in line with internal processes
Assist in selecting execution environments (processor, OS, middleware) with architects
Arbitrate major design choices and perform software/software and hardware/software integration
Plan, design, execute and validate tests and verifications
Maintain and monitor software evolution and technology watch
Contribute to reuse and standardization via COTS and reusable solutions
Apply and enforce processes and standards and drive continuous improvement (RoE)
