As a Senior Transportation Engineer at AECOM, you will lead and shape transportation projects from feasibility to detailed design, while supporting bids and client engagement. You’ll work within our Infrastructure team to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions across domestic and international markets. You’ll mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross‑functional teams to meet time and budget targets. This role offers impact through large-scale infrastructure and strategic business development in a global firm.

Responsabilità

Lead and support bids and offers from technical and managerial perspectives with the Major Project Transportation Lead
Oversee bid content and proposals for major programs in Italy and abroad
Build and maintain relationships with clients at local, national, and international levels
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in transportation markets
Oversee feasibility studies, schemes, detailed designs, assessments, and project management
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver infrastructure projects
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers
Ensure compliance with standards and regulations; manage budgets, timelines, and resources

Requisiti fondamentali

Fluent in Italian and English
Minimum 10 years leading domestic transportation projects
Strong knowledge of Italian and international design standards and regulations
Proven ability to lead multinational teams on infrastructure projects and bids
Competence in governance, approvals, and quality procedures for opportunities and projects in consultancy
Proficiency in structural, road/rail, geotechnical, and environmental design with relevant software and BIM coordination
Excellent communication and technical reporting skills
Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget; client exposure at various levels
Ability to manage teams and perform cost estimates and BoQ according to Italian standards
