In this role you will design, analyze, test, and maintain electrohydraulic servovalves for aerospace systems. You will work with mechanical, electrical, and test engineers to integrate valves into complex platforms and ensure certifications and reliability. You’ll lead failure investigations, simulations, and performance validation under varied conditions. The position offers impact through continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration in a lean production context.
Responsabilità
- Design, develop, and optimize electrohydraulic servovalves for high-performance systems
- Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions on valve components and assemblies
- Lead simulation, modeling, and testing to validate valve performance under diverse conditions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate servovalves into complex systems
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and certifications
- Provide technical support and training to customers and stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement to improve reliability, efficiency, and manufacturability
- Engage in Integrated Product Team activities to develop lean production processes
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
- 7+ years in servo valve design, validation and verification, testing, or maintenance
- Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, hydraulics, and control systems
- Proficiency in CAD, FEA, and simulation software (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS)
- Hands-on experience with test rigs, instrumentation, and diagnostics
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities
