In this role you will lead environmental restoration projects within Arcadis’ Resilience team in Milano, guiding multidisciplinary professionals to deliver contaminated site investigations, remediation, and hydrogeological work. You’ll manage scope, schedules and budgets while ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The role offers impact across sectors such as oil & gas, mining, and infrastructure, contributing to sustainable solutions for built and natural assets. You will mentor staff, shape field programs, and collaborate with clients to achieve project objectives.

Responsabilità

Manage and deliver environmental projects of varying sizes and complexities
Define and oversee project scope, schedules, budgets and risks
Provide technical guidance, conduct senior reviews, prepare and review reports, work plans, specifications, and proposals
Adhere to quality, health, safety, and performance management policies
Lead technical tasks and field programs: contaminated site investigations, feasibility studies, remediation design, hydrogeological assessments, monitoring programs, site remediation delivery
Support technical guidance across sectors (oil & gas, mining, power, infrastructure, brownfields, government)
Ensure clear objectives (scope, schedule, cost) and regulatory compliance in deliverables
Manage technical budgets and supervise intermediate and junior staff
Mentor team members and foster a collaborative environment
Experience in designing and executing field programs and presenting results to clients
Familiarity with RFPs, EOIs, and SOQs is advantageous

Requisiti fondamentali

At least 10 years of experience managing Contaminated Sites and Site Remediation
Experience in Engineering, Geoscience, and Technology focusing on site investigations, remediation, risk management, and environmental monitoring
Excellent Italian and English (at least B2)
Expertise in environmental compliance and knowledge of provincial and national Italian guidelines
Experience managing contaminated sites across sectors (industrial facilities, refineries, commercial plants)
Proven leadership in field programs with strong data analysis and report-writing skills
Experience in quality control/assurance processes and presenting results to clients
Willingness to travel for site visits and meetings
Experience in sectors like oil & gas, mining, power, government; industrial facilities and renewable energy installations
Ability to deliver comprehensive project proposals and reports
