In this role you will support the monthly close and financial analysis to underpin decision-making. You will work within the Vienna hybrid setup to ensure accurate accounting across the AP/AR cycle, reconciliations, and VAT compliance. You will partner with tax advisors and auditors to meet regulatory requirements and drive reliable financial reporting. Responsabilità
- Perform financial period close tasks and complex journal entries
- Analyze Balance Sheet and perform reconciliations
- Record AP/AR data and ensure timely invoicing in the ERP
- Follow up with vendors on missing invoices and manage cost accruals for P&L
- Process payments and bank transfers with proper approvals
- Reconcile expense reports, credit cards, invoices, and inter-company transactions
- Maintain key controls and procedures
- Prepare financial KPIs and validate accuracy
- Prepare monthly VAT returns according to government legislation
- Assist with audits and compliance activities
- Provide information to tax advisors and respond to queries
- Prepare ad-hoc performance analyses and management reporting
- Perform variance analyses against budgets and forecasts
Requisiti fondamentali
- 3+ years of experience in a Financial Accounting role
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (desirable)
- Professional qualification in bookkeeping/accounting an asset
- Experience with accrual accounting theory and practice (asset)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented, self-starter with problem-solving skills
- Curious, fast learner with growth mindset
- Willingness to automate and improve workflows
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication, able to distill data into insights
- Entrepreneurial mindset with bias for action
- German B1+ (written and verbal) and English B1+ (written and verbal) required
- Legally authorized to work in Austria
