In this role you will lead and grow the Italian market for a specialty chemicals business, combining strategic account management with proactive new business development. You’ll partner with customers to understand their processes and technical needs, delivering tailored chemical solutions that create value. You’ll balance growing existing accounts with uncovering new opportunities, leveraging cross-functional support and a strong technical foundation. The position offers long‑term growth in a collaborative, international environment that values innovation and sustainability.

Responsabilità
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships across Italy in specialty chemical markets
- Drive organic growth within established accounts through strategic account management and customer engagement
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across targeted industrial sectors
- Maintain regular face-to-face customer contact across the Italian territory
- Collaborate with technical, product management, and commercial teams to support customer projects
- Provide technical and commercial support to distributors and channel partners
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer developments to identify growth opportunities
- Support new product introductions and commercial development within the region
- Represent the company at meetings, technical discussions, industry events, and trade fairs
- Maintain accurate sales activity reporting and pipeline management through CRM systems
Requisiti fondamentali
- Approximately 5 to 10 years of sales or business development experience within the chemical industry
- Background within specialty chemicals, industrial materials, polymers, elastomers, silicones, coatings, or related sectors
- Strong experience managing customer relationships within technical or industrial markets
- Demonstrated ability to combine account management with new business acquisition
- Commercially driven with strong communication and relationship building skills
- Comfortable operating in a customer facing, field based sales environment
- Ability to engage both technically and commercially with industrial customers
- Fluent Italian and professional English language capability
- Science based education or technical background is advantageous
