In this role you drive growth in the Italian industrial lubricants market by combining technical know-how with sales acumen. You will build long-term customer relationships, deliver technical support, and shape tailored lubricant solutions for industrial equipment. You’ll analyze market trends and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, efficiency, and sustainability. This position offers the chance to influence lubrication strategy while engaging with manufacturers, end-users, and partners across Italy.

Responsabilità

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets in the Italian industrial lubricants market
  • Identify and acquire new customers including industrial end-users, distributors, and OEMs
  • Maintain long-term customer relationships through visits and ongoing technical/commercial support
  • Conduct market analyses to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
  • Provide technical advice on lubricant selection, application, and optimization for industrial equipment
  • Perform lubricant audits, oil condition analyses, and efficiency studies
  • Collaborate with the technical team to develop customized solutions and resolve lubricant-related issues
  • Deliver technical presentations and training sessions for customers and sales partners
  • Prepare quotations, technical documentation, and tender documents per company guidelines
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with customers
  • Monitor customer performance and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with logistics, service, and operations teams to ensure smooth processes

Requisiti fondamentali

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a comparable technical field
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in industrial lubricant sales or technical customer support
  • Good knowledge of tribology, lubrication systems, and operation of industrial equipment
  • Proven track record in business development within an industrial environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Italian and English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems
  • Willingness to travel within Italy (regular customer visits and participation in trade fairs)
