In this role, you’ll join Hitachi Energy’s GIS Development team in Zurich to advance next‑gen gas‑insulated switchgear for high‑voltage applications. You will contribute to R&D activities, support eco‑gas solutions, and lead investigations to improve product reliability. You’ll work with international laboratories, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to push technology and product innovations. This is a hands‑on, impact‑driven position for someone who thrives in complex engineering challenges and collaboration across ecosystems.

Responsabilità
- Deliver R&D activities for high‑voltage product development
- Support the development of innovative eco‑gas solutions
- Lead technical investigations and root cause analyses
- Drive product improvement and reliability initiatives
- Plan, support, and evaluate testing and validation activities
- Collaborate with global laboratories and external suppliers
- Provide technical support for existing products and applications
- Share knowledge and contribute to technical excellence across teams
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master in Electrical Engineering or PhD (minimum requirement: Master)
- Minimum five years of industry experience in engineering or R&D
- Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering
- Experience in an industrial product development environment
- Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and fluent English
