In this role you will lead end-to-end projects within ABB’s Motion Service hydropower division in Italy. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and engineering teams to deliver high-quality service and successful project execution. You will manage schedules, budgets and risks to ensure on-time, on-spec project delivery and proper contract close-out. This position offers on-site engagement at hydropower plants and a hybrid work model within a global energy leadership context. You will impact performance improvements and equipment revamps that support ABB’s mission to optimize uptime and efficiency.

Responsabilità

Lead and coordinate the full project lifecycle from initiation to close-out
Manage customer relationships and expectations throughout the project
Prepare and maintain project schedules using MS Project with Gantt charts and progress reports
Monitor progress, resources, costs and overall project financials
Identify and manage project risks and opportunities
Ensure proper documentation, reporting and alignment with stakeholders
Oversee on-site activities including travel to customer sites and hydropower plants
Ensure formal project acceptance and contract close-out per customer requirements and service standards

Requisiti fondamentali

Understanding of hydropower, including alternators, turbines and related electrical equipment
Proven project management experience in industrial services, electromechanical systems or hydropower
Experience working directly with customers and handling contractual aspects
Strong command of project planning tools, especially Microsoft Project
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Willingness to work on-site when needed (travel to plants, commissioning, supervision at customer locations)
Good communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, planning and prioritization
Professional working knowledge of English
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or similar technical field
