In this role, you will optimize production assembly methods, processes, and equipment to reduce labor hours while meeting quality, efficiency, cost, and safety targets. You will define working phase sequences for new production processes to hit cost and investment goals, and you will support and approve process designs and testing. You’ll lead improvement projects, support start-ups, and evaluate new technologies to boost productivity and reduce costs. This position offers hybrid work and a chance to influence manufacturing at scale within ABB’s Distribution Solutions division.

Responsabilità

Approve/process designs developed internally or externally and perform final tests
Identify and implement improvement projects within timeframe, quality, and cost constraints
Support production during internal/external start-up and train maintenance and production resources
Evaluate new process technologies, lead testing activities, and select external providers
Ensure continuity of production to meet customer needs
Define working phase sequence for new production processes to achieve targeted costs and equipment investment
