Experteer Overview
In this role you deliver direct primary outpatient care across a wide age range, including obstetric and gynecologic services, within a DoD clinical setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and participate in oversight and disaster preparedness activities. Responsabilità
- Provide direct primary outpatient care across gynecology, obstetrics, pediatrics, and geriatrics
- Perform ambulatory surgical procedures (e.g., casting, suturing, biopsies, vasectomies, flexible sigmoidoscopy)
- Order and interpret laboratory and radiology tests
- Counsel and guide personnel including PAs, NPs, and technicians
- Participate in medical oversight activities and peer review
- Engage in local disaster training exercises and maintain preparedness
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requisiti fondamentali
- US Citizens
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited program
- Current, active medical license in a U.S. state, DC, PR, or territory
- Residency in Family Medicine completed (4 years) or equivalent
- At least one year of supervised clinical experience post-degree
- No substitution of residency for required specialty training
- Eligible for licensure and board-eligibility as applicable
