Experteer Overview
As Mission Operations Engineer, you will define mission scenarios, analyze nominal and contingency operations, and develop spacecraft operational modes and timelines. You support flight and ground segment tests and contribute to SW requirements validation, enabling robust space missions from Torino. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex operational challenges and improve mission reliability. This role offers hands-on impact in mission execution and system-level analysis within a leading space manufacturer.
Responsabilità
- Define mission scenarios and perform operations analysis
- Analyze nominal and contingency scenarios
- Define and develop spacecraft operational modes and mode transitions
- Develop mission timelines
- Perform Failure Detection, Isolation and Recovery (FDIR) analysis
- Develop nominal and off-nominal spacecraft procedures
- Support Flight Segment and Ground Segment development and system tests execution
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master degree in Aerospace Engineering
- Good knowledge of Matlab environment
- Understanding of spacecraft operational concepts
- Understanding of autonomy concepts and FDIR
- Availability to support SW team in defining and validating SW requirements
- Strong system-level analysis, synthesis and problem solving abilities
- Excellent English proficiency
- Team-oriented and multidisciplinary collaboration
