In this role you’ll contribute to AMD’s SerDes development by designing high-speed analog circuits for next-generation connectivity. You’ll join a cross‑site, collaborative team in Ireland to push performance, power, and reliability of SerDes paths that connect CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs. You’ll work on low‑power designs, layout considerations, and post‑layout verification, shaping the capability to handle multi‑GHz signals. This opportunity connects cutting-edge analog design with system-level modelling, offering meaningful impact in a fast‑moving, inclusive culture.
Responsabilità
- Analog circuit design for SerDes PHYs to meet block-level specs
- Verification of circuit designs using industry-standard tools and methodologies
- Presenting design progress to peers and participating in design reviews
- Collaborating with SerDes teams at other sites to share ideas
- Feeding back circuit performance to architecture for system modelling
- Supporting system-level verification and Verilog modeling of analog circuits
- Assisting with silicon bring-up and debugging
Requisiti fondamentali
- Extensive experience in analog circuit design and verification
- Familiarity with layout floor-planning and layout-dependent effects
- Experience with high-speed circuit design and post-layout verification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication and teamwork
- Academic credentials in Electronic/Electrical Engineering
