Specialista Senior / Project Manager
Experteer Overview
In this role, you will drive scientific exchange and trusted relationships with clinicians and researchers in rare neurology to support the development of new therapies. You will map local ecosystems, identify opportunities, and connect external experts with internal capabilities to co-create value for patients. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will shape regional medical strategies and ensure high-quality engagement with investigators, KOLs, and patient groups. This position offers the chance to help build a dedicated rare disease MSL organization starting with myasthenia gravis, contributing to patient-centric outcomes at scale.

Responsabilità
- Develop and refine scientific expertise through ongoing interactions with external thought leaders and internal teams
- Manage local stakeholder engagement based on regional needs and opportunities
- Engage regularly with key opinion leaders, investigators, patient advocacy groups, and scientific societies
- Collaborate with Regional Rare Disease Lead and Market Access teams to align field insights with strategy
- Support Clinical Development Solutions in identifying investigational centers and fostering external collaborations
- Identify local networks, registries, and patient associations for potential collaboration
- Raise awareness of Rare Disease Neurology indications (starting with MG) and opportunities
- Conduct full territory mapping to identify centers of excellence, KOLs, patients groups, and relevant stakeholders
- Cultivate clinical trial partnerships and support site recruitment, participation, and reporting in line with UCB standards
- Ensure compliance with medical governance principles and foster cross-functional teamwork
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline
- At least 3 years' Medical Science Liaison experience, preferably in rare disease
- Fluent English (oral and written)
- Experience in rare, neuromuscular, or autoimmune diseases preferred
- Strong independent, proactive problem-solving with ability to work in a cross-functional team
- Proven ability to execute medical plans and communicate complex science clearly
- Ability to engage with KOLs and external stakeholders to support strategic objectives
- Willingness to travel regularly
- Experience with local and global partner interactions and external organizations
- Digital literacy and familiarity with modern tools and platforms
- Strong understanding of medical governance and compliance
