In this role, you will lead the Risk Management function to minimize loss and liability while aligning risk programs with the organization’s patient-safety and regulatory goals. You will manage risk assessments, compliance, staff education, and reporting to support safe, regulatory-adherent operations. You will collaborate with multiple departments to implement improvements and oversee investigations and claims processes, driving a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Responsabilità
- Monitor departmental performance and address variances to meet risk management and quality targets
- Develop, implement, and monitor risk management policies, procedures, and standards aligned with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to identify, resolve, and support new program initiatives related to risk
- Oversee risk assessments, investigations, and internal reporting of actual and potential risks
- Educate staff on risk management protocols and incident reporting to promote safety and compliance
- Coordinate investigation and handling of claims and legal inquiries with timely responses
- Guide budget planning and resource allocation for risk activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain attendance and comply with policies and standards
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 2+ years of direct experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
- 2-4 years of experience in a closely related field with Bachelor's degree
- 2-4 years of leadership experience (preferred)
- CPHRM or related certification preferred depending on location
- Ability to lead, manage cross-functional teams, and communicate with stakeholders
