In this role you will lead a fast-growing children’s residential care provider through its launch and early growth in the East Midlands. You will set strategic direction, establish high standards of care, and build the leadership capability to sustain long-term success. The position sits on a values-led board and focuses on governance, safeguarding, and stakeholder collaboration. This is a chance to shape culture, drive performance, and deliver strong outcomes for children. You’ll work closely with the board and commissioners to scale the service and ensure quality care at scale.

Responsabilità

Set and deliver strategic direction and expansion plans across the East Midlands
Establish governance, quality assurance, and safeguarding frameworks
Recruit, develop, and lead a senior management team
Own operational performance, compliance, and financial outcomes
Serve as a key link between the board, regulators, commissioners, and stakeholders
Promote a child-centred culture prioritising positive outcomes and quality care

Requisiti fondamentali

Substantial leadership experience within children’s residential services
Proven track record of raising standards and supporting service growth
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements
Strategic thinking with the ability to deliver at an operational level
Excellent leadership presence, communication, and stakeholder management
Clear commitment to improving lives and outcomes of children and young people
