In this role you ensure material availability by planning, coordinating and monitoring production and supply chain activities. You will work to achieve on-time delivery, optimize inventory and drive continuous improvement across plant and supply chain. You will translate forecasts into feasible production and procurement plans and monitor adherence, taking corrective actions as needed. You will collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Warehousing and Logistics teams to secure smooth operations. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced, JIT environment at a premium automotive supplier.

Responsabilità

Develop short-, mid-, and long-term production and material plans aligned with demand and capacity
Translate customer forecasts and orders into feasible production and procurement plans
Monitor plan adherence and implement corrective actions for deviations
Manage MRP and communicate net requirements to suppliers
Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehousing and Logistics teams
Monitor supplier delivery performance and escalate shortages as needed
Control inventory levels, safety stocks and stock accuracy
Track logistics and planning KPIs (OTD, service level, inventory KPIs)
Coordinate with 3PL providers and monitor service levels
Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, process optimization)
Ensure data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems and compliance with procedures

Requisiti fondamentali

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or similar
2–5 years of experience in logistics or production planning in manufacturing (automotive preferred)
Good knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
Understanding of supply chain, inventory management and planning processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, JIT environment
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluent English; Italian is a strong advantage
