Experteer Overview

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Sky Italia, you drive backend platforms for Digital Products in a complex enterprise setting. You will provide technical leadership, align development with business needs, and coordinate across teams including external partners. You’ll shape architecture, lead SDLC governance, and mentor peers to adopt best practices. You will explore new technologies and prototype solutions to improve the customer experience. This role offers the chance to influence the digital ecosystem at scale and work with distributed teams.

Responsabilità

Contribute to architectural definition and ensure technical consistency across backend engineers
Develop, enhance, and maintain core backend components of the Digital Product landscape; perform code reviews
Coordinate development activities to ensure quality and SDLC compliance; collaborate with engineers
Translate business needs into technical stories and requirements with stakeholders
Promote innovation via prototypes and mentoring external teams to adopt new solutions

Requisiti fondamentali

Java, and/or Typescript, Python
Spring/SpringBoot and/or Node.js
Microservices architecture and domain-driven design (DDD)
API design, integration patterns, scalability best practices
Unit and integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Mocha, Jest)
Experience building scalable, performant web services; cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Excellent communication and coordination with distributed teams and vendors
