As Frontend Lead Engineer, you will guide a cross-functional team to grow our Prime subscriber base. You’ll shape technical strategy for Prime modules and collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Data Science to deliver high-performance, scalable solutions. You’ll translate requirements into tangible designs, promote engineering excellence, and mentor engineers to reach their potential. This role offers the chance to influence a global travel platform and work in a data-driven, agile environment. You’ll join a purpose-driven, flexible, hybrid team focused on delivering customer value at scale.

Responsabilità

  • Lead a cross-functional agile team of 7-10 engineers
  • Shape technical strategy for Prime modules and ensure performance
  • Translate specifications into efficient design and tasks with quick value
  • Promote standards of technical excellence and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with Product, Business, Architecture, Data Science to align on the technical direction
  • Participate in talent recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
  • Foster engagement, belonging, and high-performance culture with agile coaching support
  • Mentor engineers and support their professional growth

Requisiti fondamentali

  • Knowledge and experience with coding, OO design, system design, performance tuning, design patterns, data modelling
  • Javascript and code base knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience with distributed, concurrent and scalable systems
  • Experience with Applied AI Tools: GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants
  • Experimentation mindset and willingness to explore AI-driven solutions
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to make fast, data-driven decisions
  • Ability to live and transmit company values
  • High standards around quality and technical excellence in coding
