In this role you service and optimize Marel’s Secondary Fresh equipment at customer sites in North Europe, with involvement in installation projects. You bridge hands-on mechatronics with customer interaction, driving uptime and reliability while training operators. You’ll lead local teams on larger installations and report progress to customers and R&D. The role blends field work with office alignment, offering travel 50–60% and a clear path to domain specialization.

Responsabilità

  • Service and optimize the Secondary Fresh portfolio at customer sites
  • Conduct installation projects in North Europe
  • Prepare and execute service projects; perform maintenance visits to ensure uptime
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls issues on-site
  • Lead and coordinate local staff in larger installation projects
  • Maintain customer communication and report progress
  • Train operators and maintenance staff; provide feedback to R&D and colleagues
  • Plan upcoming projects and report completion; align with manager and engineering team

Requisiti fondamentali

  • Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Solid knowledge of mechanics with strong affinity for electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics and controls
  • Experience in service/maintenance of complex machinery (advantage)
  • Interest in process engineering and/or food production
  • Strong English; German a plus
  • EU travel and work documents; willingness to travel internationally (~50–60%)
