As a Facultative Reinsurance Broker at WTW in Milan, you will support the broking team in placing facultative reinsurance and preparing client submissions, gaining hands-on exposure to the reinsurance market. You’ll work with cedants, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders to deliver effective risk transfer solutions and support business development in Italy. This role combines practical experience with internal development programs within a globally connected team. Responsabilità

Assist in evaluating client risks to help design facultative reinsurance solutions
Prepare placement documents and submissions to reinsurers
Negotiate facultative terms under guidance of senior brokers
Manage existing facultative portfolios and administrative tasks
Liaise with client teams, claims, legal, and finance to ensure timely delivery of services
Support business development and relationship-building with cedants and reinsurers in Italy
Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments
Learn and apply WTW tools and systems for placement and servicing of facultative reinsurance

Requisiti fondamentali

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, or related field
3–5 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, or related financial services (a plus)
Basic understanding of insurance/reinsurance concepts
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent English and Italian communication skills
Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Collaborative mindset and eagerness to be part of an international team
