As a Senior Product Manager in the Thermal line, you will own the product lifecycle and drive growth by translating customer needs into market-ready solutions. You will collaborate with regional and global units to align strategy, pricing, and go-to-market plans, ensuring strong performance across pipeline and revenue metrics. You’ll engage with customers, sales, and engineering to shape the roadmap, manage VOC, and sustain offerings through lifecycle stages. This role offers impact across EMEA, with opportunities to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence product strategy.
Responsabilità
- Own and optimize the product lifecycle for the Thermal line, including introduction, extensions, and end-of-life planning
- Capture and translate VOC into requirements shared with global business units
- Define business cases for new products and growth plans (organic and inorganic) and execute aligned with EMEA targets
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability
- Coordinate cross-functionally with EMEA Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and the Global Business Unit
- Support sustaining product management and deliver market knowledge and SME guidance
- Enable product transfers outside the region to support the EMEA plan and engage stakeholders
- Lead strategic in-presence meetings with Tech Sales and Solutions Architects to capture market insights and drive NPDI proposals
- Maintain technical conversations across Thermal Chain at Application Engineering level
- Attend tradeshows, customer visits, and partner meetings to maintain VOC and feedback for Global BUs
- Create and track product lifecycle plans including launches, extensions, engineered-to-order items, and end-of-production
- Contribute to Datacenter associations and events to boost Vertiv visibility
- Drive margin improvement via pricing, VAVE, and cost-out programs
- Monitor market trends, demand drivers, and competition to guide strategy
- Serve as the primary source of customer and market intelligence for the Thermal product line in EMEA
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Sales Operations, and Pricing to implement pricing strategies
- Work with Thermal Technical Sales and Solution Architects on technical product strategy and customer alignment
- Ensure accurate customer-facing documentation and marketing collateral for region-specific needs
- Prepare presentations, product demos, and sales enablement materials
- Develop and monitor post-launch metrics for new offerings and pipeline impact
- Collaborate with Marketing to implement marketing programs
Requisiti fondamentali
- 8+ years of experience in technical, product/service, strategic planning, marketing, or related roles
- Bachelor in Engineering; Master in Engineering preferred
- Strong business acumen and leadership of product portfolios
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence outcomes
- Technical aptitude to translate customer needs into solutions
- Problem solving, data analysis, and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- High customer orientation and ability to balance long- and short-term goals
- Ability to interact with all organizational levels and work with a curious, proactive mindset
- Travel willingness (moderate, >30%)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and other business apps
- Experience in pricing, margin management, and market-facing activities
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
