As a Mechanical Engineer in the EMEA Case Conveyor Systems team, you implement project-specific conveyor solutions for intralogistics. You work across disciplines to design and integrate belt and roller conveyors, assess safety, and prepare detailed layouts and specifications. You collaborate with multiple engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer alignment. Your role combines hands-on layout work with coordination of suppliers and installation partners, contributing to scalable, safe material-handling systems. This opportunity lets you shape turnkey projects across diverse locations and teams.

Responsabilità

Create approval and detailed layouts for conveyor concepts based on sales layouts
Assess project mechanics safety and define necessary measures
Define and coordinate interfaces with other trades and services
Perform ergonomic assessments and prepare workstation mockups
Develop detailed specifications for purchased components and coordinate with suppliers
Plan and document maintenance platforms, safety devices, and maintenance steps
Generate BOMs and purchase requisitions in SAP
Create data lists for hardware controls planning and installation drawings
Support installation team during handover and on-site implementation
Conduct system risk assessments and safety inspections with CE Compliance
Provide engineering support in customer meetings during the engineering phase
Coordinate with cross-functional teams across Project Delivery, Hardware Controls, Structural Engineering, Software Controls, Solution Development, Technical Purchasing, CE Compliance, Manufacturing, and Installation

Requisiti fondamentali

Graduate engineer / Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering
3-5 years of professional experience (graduates welcome)
Expertise in project engineering and mechanical design (materials handling or similar)
Strong written and spoken English
Teamwork and communication skills
Structured and results-oriented approach
Problem-solving and self-management skills
AutoCAD knowledge
NX + Teamcenter knowledge
Navisworks knowledge
SAP knowledge
Willingness to travel
