In this full-time, office-based Director, Account Management role at Medpace in Maastricht, you will lead Commercial Operations, shaping pricing and contract strategies for RFPs and RFIs. You will manage a team, drive retention, and act as the main sponsor liaison, ensuring delivery against financial and operational targets. You will provide strategic input on fee estimates, budgets, and contract amendments, while maintaining low turnover. You will engage with client steering committees and escalate issues to protect project success. This role blends leadership, financial acumen, and client relationship mastery to support Medpace's CRO mission.

Responsabilità

Oversee hiring, training, evaluation, and retention of Commercial Operations staff, including direct team management
Provide strategic input and oversee development of fee estimates for RFPs, budget revisions, and contract amendments
Provide strategic financial input for RFIs in collaboration with colleagues for each opportunity
Maintain turnover rate below 7%
Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to track goals
Assess and address departmental capacity needs and delegate workload to meet timelines
Serve as key relationship manager for Sponsor and be the escalation point for the Sponsor and internal team
Participate in client steering committees

Requisiti fondamentali

Bachelor in Business, Finance, or Accounting
MBA preferred
At least 8 years of experience in contract management and pricing in pharmaceutical or clinical research
Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes with analytical and communication excellence
Basic knowledge of drug development services and medical terminology
Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
