As a Database Administrator for Eye-share, you own the database environments powering our cloud-native SaaS product used by thousands of Nordic customers. You will safeguard reliability, performance, and security while collaborating with platform, engineering, and SRE teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end experience. You’ll optimize, scale, and secure database clusters in public clouds and help drive resilience through robust backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring. This role offers impact in shaping the database landscape as Eye-share scales and modernizes. You will directly influence performance and availability in a high-traffic SaaS context.

Responsabilità

Manage, optimize, and scale database clusters in public cloud environments
Monitor database performance, health, and capacity for SaaS customers
Maintain and improve backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery strategies
Collaborate with developers on schema design, indexing, and performance
Ensure security compliance and internal cloud governance
Automate provisioning, maintenance, and scaling
Maintain dashboards, alerts, and KPIs for proactive monitoring
Lead troubleshooting and incident resolution for performance or availability issues

Requisiti fondamentali

3-7+ years of DBA experience
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong performance tuning and advanced troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of replication, sharding, failover mechanisms, and high-availability architectures
Experience with cloud-hosted relational databases and/or NoSQL systems
