In this role, you will help shape the commercial legal strategy for Avio Aero under senior guidance. You’ll handle domestic and international contracts, advise on execution and risk, and support cross-functional teams in complex projects. You’ll contribute to compliance, training, and knowledge sharing across the GE Aerospace legal community, driving efficient, compliant growth. This position offers impact through strategic negotiations, regulatory awareness, and collaboration across a global organization.

Responsabilità

Structure, draft, and negotiate domestic and international commercial and financing agreements to support business objectives
Provide proactive operational legal counsel on contract execution and interpretation
Share lessons learned and best practices across the GE Aerospace legal community
Identify and address legal issues in contracts and claims to mitigate risk
Oversee compliance with commercial legal policies and procedures
Identify and deliver targeted legal and contractual training for commercial and sourcing teams
Maintain knowledge of industry trends to support commercial objectives
Develop strategies and support negotiations with suppliers and customers
Manage legal escalations related to service delivery, quality, invoicing, and payment issues
Support cost reduction and revenue growth initiatives while ensuring compliance and risk minimization
Drive process optimization to enable growth and reduce inefficiencies
Stay abreast of EU cyber and privacy regulations and support implementation of new tech and systems to improve regulatory compliance

Requisiti fondamentali

Law degree from a highly respected university
Admitted to practice law in an EU Member State
Solid experience in general commercial and corporate law, preferably in a reputable law firm
Strong organizational skills and business judgment
Persuasive written and verbal communication with decisiveness
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a complex, matrixed organization
Willingness to travel up to ~20%
Fluency in English and Italian
Work visa required
