As Cluster Chief Engineer, you oversee engineering and maintenance across multiple Sicily hotels, ensuring safety, comfort, and guest satisfaction. You lead engineers, manage budgets, and drive preventative maintenance across properties. You ensure compliance with brand standards and regulatory requirements, while guiding site Chief Engineers. This role focuses on cost-effective, reliable facilities management and energy conservation to support the hotel portfolio’s performance. You play a central role in shaping a safe, efficient, and guest-focused engineering operation.

Responsabilità

Develop and manage multi-property engineering strategies, budgets, and long-term preventive maintenance plans
Lead, train, and evaluate engineering teams across hotels
Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance with monthly progress reporting
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and brand requirements
Manage engineering projects from planning to completion within time and budget
Monitor financials to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
Supervise contractors and vendors to ensure quality and contract adherence
Coordinate with property management and other departments on operational needs
Oversee building systems operations (HVAC, kitchen/laundry, refrigeration, lighting, plumbing, water treatment) and ensure optimal physical condition
Implement energy conservation measures and report consumption monthly

Requisiti fondamentali

7+ years in engineering and maintenance management or related field
English knowledge at an intermediate level
Degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major
Technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing
