In this role you will oversee non-nursing operations at Laredo Medical Center, driving efficient service delivery and strategic execution. You will partner with the CEO, CFO, and senior leaders to advance financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and high-quality patient care. You will lead process improvements, support service-line growth, and mentor department leaders as part of the CEO Development Program. This position offers a clear path toward future executive leadership and relocation for promotion.
Responsabilità
- Oversee non-nursing departments ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with CEO and CFO on strategic plans, financial goals, revenue growth, and expense control
- Drive process improvements to improve patient throughput and resource utilization
- Identify opportunities for service-line expansion, business development, and physician recruitment
- Support medical staff relationships by addressing operational concerns and enhancing engagement
- Review department performance metrics and implement improvement plans
- Coach and mentor department leaders to build leadership capability
- Contribute to budgeting and capital planning aligning with strategic priorities
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and accreditation standards
- Participate in executive meetings and board presentations as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain regular attendance and policy compliance
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Healthcare Administration (MHA)
- 7-9 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience
- 3–5 years in operational or executive-level management overseeing multiple departments or service lines
- Prior experience overseeing multiple hospital departments or service lines (preferred)
- Strong executive leadership and strategic planning skills
- Advanced knowledge of hospital operations including finance, facilities, ancillary services, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with physicians, leaders, and external stakeholders
- Ability to develop, coach, and retain high-performing teams
