As Casting Junior Buyer, you will manage the sourcing process for Castings goods within Avio Aero's Supply Chain, oversee tooling and supplier relations, and support cost reduction initiatives. You will collaborate with strategic sourcing and the Casting Technical Expert to align on commodity strategy and de-risk activities. You’ll balance tactical execution with strategic projects while applying lean problem solving to improve on-time delivery and cost outcomes. This role offers hands-on influence in a global aerospace context and exposure to cross-functional teams across supply chain.

Responsabilità

Own the sourcing workflow from request evaluation to PO placement for designated goods
Manage tooling spend, refurbishment, and replacement plans, including status tracking
Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing and Casting Technical Expert to align on commodity needs
Define and execute strategy for Casting goods, including de-risking activities
Support supplier relationship building and action planning for strategic suppliers
Perform spend analysis aligned with Budget and Long Range Forecast, including deflation and days to pay
Apply cost and price analysis techniques with support from related teams
Negotiate POs in accordance with company and government regulations
Assist development and long-term contract negotiations, maintaining accurate documentation
Balance tactical execution with strategic cost-reduction initiatives
Collaborate with Supplier Quality and Procurement teams to meet OTD, delinquency, and vendor recovery targets using LEAN problem solving
