Experteer Overview
In this role you develop software for plant control within SMS’s Center of Excellence Electrics/Automation. You take over Level 1 programming, run tests, and perform functional commissioning at customer sites. You’ll participate in and lead cross-team and customer meetings to ensure smooth delivery. You’ll work with global teams, contributing to scalable automation solutions and ensuring quality during handover to customers. This is a hands-on engineering role with international travel and a direct impact on project success.
Responsabilità
- Develop automation software for plant control
- Takeover Level 1 programming, perform testing and functional commissioning at customer premises
- Participate in and lead meetings with SMS teams, customers, and suppliers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requisiti fondamentali
- Graduate or Bachelor/Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science
- Proven programming competence in PLC automation systems (S7-TIA, S7-400)
- Experience with Rockwell, ControlLogix, Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT
- Knowledge of HMI development platforms; Siemens SIMATIC WinCC
- Analytical thinking and ability to work in a team
- Very good English language skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Willingness to travel worldwide
