Experteer Overview
In this role you support the IT and Safety Department to deliver reliable IT services for the hotel and guests. You will ensure compliance with local safety legislation and hotel emergency procedures while guiding security personnel and collaborating with department heads. You’ll address IT issues promptly, anticipate system needs, and implement solutions to reduce outages. The role blends technology, safety governance, and cross‑functional collaboration to maintain a safe, seamless guest experience. This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity within Hilton’s hospitality team.
Responsabilità
- Provide strong operational IT support for hotel systems and users to minimize outages
- Understand and apply IT governance and security requirements
- Resolve IT issues efficiently and completely
- Identify current and future system needs and propose solutions
- Assist with Local Safety Legislation to ensure security department compliance
- Direct and coordinate security personnel and implement safety procedures
- Advise other departments on security matters
- Develop strong relationships with hotel departments
Requisiti fondamentali
- Previous IT management experience, preferably in hotel/leisure/service sectors
- Experience with Microsoft systems
- Experience with hotel applications (Fidelio, Micros) preferred
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Current technical knowledge and ability to apply IT concepts
- Understanding of IT infrastructure trends across networks, databases, business applications
- Ability to plan ahead and develop contingency plans
- Organised, systematic approach to problem solving
- Flexibility to adapt to different work situations
