Experteer Overview
In this role you act as the NAS Operations Manager within the Fort Worth ARTCC Service Operations Center, overseeing the health of NAS services and directing restorations to minimize downtime. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to keep critical air traffic infrastructure reliable and predictable. You’ll lead complex restoration efforts and influence system improvements as a technical authority. The position offers impact on national NAS resilience and contributes to safe, continuous operations in a high-stakes environment.

Responsabilità
- Monitor service and system status and coordinate restoration of interruptions
- Direct and execute restoration of interrupted services/systems
- Reconfigure services/systems to minimize interruptions and improve predictability
- Lead large, complex work activities as senior project manager or team leader
- Develop SOPs for emergencies and safety at assigned facilities
- Provide expert guidance to senior managers on NAS enhancements and operational improvements
- Integrate Operational Risk Management into restoration, maintenance, and projects
- Represent FAA as a senior technical authority on major activities and programs
Requisiti fondamentali
- US Citizenship is required
- Selective Service registration for males born after 1959
- SF-50 submission required
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required
- Valid driver's license
- Specialized experience with NAS monitoring, and knowledge of monitoring tools
- Experience with NAS-related outage documentation via Event Manager and NOTAM Manager
- Demonstrated abilities as mandatory qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a background investigation
