The Plant HR Manager position is responsible for leading the HR function within 2 world class manufacturing and Premium Seating facilities. He/She will lead the plant HR team and help with the continuous improvement of our plant culture.


Main Responsibilities:


Promoting a culture of partnership between Operations and HR
Acting as a lead in local Labor Relations
Ensuring the labor law compliance working with Lear HQ and local Manufacturing Association
Working closely with our Operations leaders to provide partnership in delivering corporate objectives- such as Together We Win (TWW) - and cultural change – such as Premium attitude project.
In partnership with Operations, ensuring best practices in Health and Safety to deliver also wellness initiatives and drive engagement.
Drive and support diversity within the Plants by supporting Grow Project & other D+I Initiatives
Ensure best practice within Employee Relations.
Supporting and Training our leaders to ensure disciplinary procedure compliance
Ensuring team compliance of all HR systems and operating at a state of ‘Audit Ready’
Leadership and development of the existing Plants HR team

The ideal candidate will have:

At least 10 years of direct experience of working within a busy manufacturing, preferably automotive, environment
Experience in taking part in Union negotiations
Familiarity with Contratto Nazionale Metalmeccanici
Previously led a HR team
‘Hands on’ approach
Good English written and spoken
