As a Senior Vendor Manager on the Mobile Initiatives team you will work closely with Amazon’s senior leadership, content acquisition and product development teams to manage and grow strategic partnerships with major mobile, technology, and content brands.  In the role you will own all aspects of our digital relationships with key vendors including merchandising, catalog expansion, promotions, pricing and identifying and driving new initiatives with the goal of creating a phenomenal site experience to help customers find, discover and buy apps.  The successful candidate will have experience working with external vendors; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and a strong will to get stuff done and deliver results.  Keys to success also include: Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment Proven negotiating skills and influencing abilities Superior communication skills, high attention to detail, comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting scrappy to get stuff done Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines Interest in the mobile industry Basic Qualifications 5+ years in buying, account management, product management, and/or marketing Proven negotiating skills, influencing abili ...
