As Senior Undewriter for the factoring platform of GE Capital Italy You will be responsible for the following activities: Essential Responsibilities -underwriting of new and existing clients and debtors credit facilities, in accordance with the business Policy 5.0 (investment approval delegations) and with the objective of minimizing exposure to credit losses. - prepare written investment approval recommendations, comprising the detailed analysis of prospect companies financial statements, describing the transaction structure, the collateral performance and collectability, and overall risks and mitigants. Tight deadlines and multiple simultaneous projects may occur from time to time. -Take adequate measures to ensure all compliance matters and Regulatory matters have been addressed within the transaction -work closely with the sales reps, the client management team the local, European and US Risk teams and follow up with requests of deals facility amendments. - The incumbent may, according to experience, be granted discretionary approval authorities under Policy 5.0. - Ensure continuing compliance with credit re-insurance policy with a third party insurer Qualifications/Requirements -At least 5 years’ experience of credit underwriting within the factoring market, preferably wit ...
