Essential Responsibilities The Metal Working Laboratory Engineer will: Be responsible for Numeric Control Part Program for milling and EDM machines (Cam and Post processing); Understand machining methods and verify if they are capable to meet drawing requirements (SPC); Develop tools and tooling optimization, fix appropriate cutting parameters in chip removal on machines; Develop fixtures for work piece placement and improve fixture design; Execute NTI/NPI tests inside lab area and operating tooling machines; Improve and standardize machining processes, support development MFG practices ensuring consistency with shop activities; Facility interaction of staff members with each other and external organizations; Assist the staff contributor or manager in planning work activity for the metal working laboratory; Be responsible for safety and maintenance of metal working laboratory areas.; Location will be Florence and Massa. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor degree in engineering/High school technical diploma with profession experience in Manufacturing; At least 5-7 additional years of manufacturing or shop experience in machine tool operation; Proficient personal computer skills; EU Work Permit.
