  Mechanical Engineer Requisition ID : 00183620   Description  1. Purpose of the Job • New Product Introduction (NPI) focused mechanical design. This role would be dedicated to developments of all the mechanical parts used in electronic devices, from initial concept stage through to manufacture. 2. Principal Responsibilities Project Management • Project manage of mechanical dedicated to electronic devices (plastic and metal parts). • PCB mechanical definition with hardware engineers cooperation • Liaise with all other project team members ensuring all projects are progressing forwards at the required pace and ultimately a successful conclusion NPI - New Product Introduction • It is expected that the engineer will draw on Six Sigma tools and philosophies to ensure a robust design methodology is executed for each product development. • All new electronic device design will be the principle charge of the engineer. This will require the engineer to be able to conceptualise ideas and develop them into workable and robust solutions. • Appropriate records relating to the design development process of projects are expected.
