Role Summary/Purpose The Materials and Processes (M&P) Engineer will support the O&G Supply Chain in the qualification of the special processes applicable for raw material procurement and manufacturing for casting and forging. Essential Responsibilities The M&P Engineer will: Be responsible for the qualification of the special processes sand casting, forging and heat treatment for the supply chain; Be involved in the supplier quality management, submit the qualification requirements, dispose supplier deviation requests, perform periodic audit and surveillance and identify and solve potential escaping defects in order to avoid reoccurrence; Contribute to continuously improve the Suppliers Quality level, reducing both escaping defects and associated Cost of Quality, while growing and developing the supply base as per business needs; Bring the processes experience from the supply chain to the product innovation, contributing in proposing new idea and cost out opportunities.
