Role Summary/Purpose The successful candidate will join the Control Algorithms and Software group within the Turbomachinery Controls, Electrification and Electronics organization. She/he will develop control software and algorithms for Gas Turbine / Steam Turbine / Electric motor driver equipment, both for compression and power generation applications in the Oil & Gas market. She/he will be responsible for engineering activities either for Customer projects, standardization tasks or new product introductions. Essential Responsibilities The Lead Engineer/Technologist, Control Algorithms and Software will: Execute or coordinate software and algorithms development and associated simulation/verification/validation activities, from the conceptual design up to release of the product or solution; Document activities in the form of internal technical documentation, Customer technical documentation, presentations, etc. as applicable; Perform internal or customer-witnessed validation and acceptance tests for developed software and algorithms; Attend internal engineering design reviews and customer meetings; Support new processes and best practices introduction on software and algorithms development and testing to increase product quality.
