Basic Function: The Manager of Engineering will report to the General Manager / Operations Manager of Limitorque Fluid Power Systems (LFPS), a Flowserve company. The Manager of Engineering will oversee and direct all aspects of engineering for Limitorque Fluid Controls in Italy. The Manager of Engineering will define and implement engineering processes and practices for both application engineering and new product development. He or she will be the responsible for staffing and developing the capabilities of the engineering department in order to accomplish the engineering objectives of the company. Principal Accountabilities: Implement design strategies that will economically meet the specifications for proposed new products, as defined in a Market Requirements Documents [MRDs] for heavy duty, non-electric valve automation products. Design, analyze, validate and support current and future actuator product designs including; Pneumatic piston actuators and controls Hydraulic piston actuators and controls Direct HP gas actuators and controls Gas/Oil actuators and controls Electro-hydraulic actuators and controls Subsea actuators and controls of various types Design or select control components including manifolds, directional control valves, hydraulic power units, accumulators, swit ...
