Shape the strategy for eBay to become the partner of choice of Italian businesses for their online sales Generate/collect insights from our seller base on their needs (both qualitatively and quantitatively) and turn them into actionable initiatives in line with strategy Segment the market based on customer needs, identifying key targets and define a compelling value proposition, go to market strategy and initiatives across different levers (i.e. user experience, pricing, marketing, sales) for each segment Work closely with the Sales team, providing them guidance and targets on the focus of their efforts Design and negotiate partnership with other companies and institutions at senior executive level (often directly with the CEOs) Play a pivotal role in supporting the Country manager in defining and driving the strategy and the financial targets of the Italian business for eBay. Work closely with the head of Buyers to understand buyers needs and helping to close inventory gaps by attracting the right sellers Inspire, motivate and manage teams, both directly reporting into this position and from other parts of the organization, leading them to the delivery of ambitious financial targets.
