Job Description Responsibilities:The Strategic Account Manager is the primary driver for big deals and run-rate transactional business within the UAE. The mission of this group is to solidify existing named customer accounts and elevate VMware to a more strategic partner in the customer’s business. Our solution set is viewed as a ‘platform’ within an account and changes the role that IT plays within that account from being considered a cost burden to a strategic deployment.Objectives:- strategic development of named customer base in the UAE- expansion of VMware's foothold in those accounts selling full range of VMware products and services- achieving and over-achieving revenue and MBO targets- regular and accurate forecasting in Siebel to report on businessRequirements:What you bring to the table:- Experience in selling enterprise software- Experience in building/generating a geography-based or vertical business- Experience with high-transaction sales (high volume deals)- Significant track record of quota over-achievement versus peers- Consistent achievement with a background in exceeding quota- Knowledge in selling complex systems products- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Experience building and leveraging channel sales relationshipsIf you have a passion ...
