The Team: Morningstar Global Funds Data team is responsible for the management and development of Morningstar`s proprietary investment funds database. Internally, the team is responsible for the collection, validation and provision of the highest quality, most comprehensive and timely data. Externally, the team strengthens our communication and relationships with our fund data providers as well as fund data clients. The Role: Morningstar Italy seeks a Data Team Leader. The Data Leader will define the strategy to enhance and maintain our Italian open-end data sets, further develop our global processing capabilities, and set goals for the continuous enhancement of data coverage and quality. In this role, you will develop a clear understanding of our data, which includes its sources, significance, use, and opportunities for improvements. You will coordinate with key partners such as the various Morningstar product teams, Data Technology Team, Central Data Team in China, other globally based Data Teams and the Data Quality Team, as well as provide problem-solving leadership on client issues and requests.
