Cologno Monzese - Construction Manager – Heavy Industry – O&G - Refinery

Within our Construction Department we are looking for a Construction Manager who will have the following responsibilities.Construction and Site Management – Provide leadership in HSE – Interface with Client representative at site - Manage and coordinate the activities of the supervisory team - Monitor contractors’ workmanship - Inform the responsible contractors of defects and deficiencies, and enforce remedial actions - Evaluate the adequacy of contractors’ personnel, equipment and tools and the availability of materials to meet the schedule - Schedule and conduct weekly coordination meetings at which contractors, suppliers, engineers and construction team can discuss progress and resolve technical and schedule issues - Coordinate construction and erection activities, providing guidance and directives to contractors and suppliers – Assist the Scheduler in monitoring and controlling the Master Schedule and progress of the works - Cooperate with Project Manager and Project Control staff in reviewing construction costs and ETC - Assist the Project Manager and the Director of Works in checking and approving the Status of Work Progress Instalments (“S.A.L.”) and Contractors applications for payment –  Assist the Project Controller or the Project Manager in evaluating ...
