As the Chief Software Architect for the European Division Tax & Accounting, with activities and software development teams in different European countries, you are responsible for assessing the various country software development roadmaps on their compliance and link with the overall strategic business directions of the division. Your primary role is to understand the end-to-end business requirements, understand/enhance the application architecture & roadmap, see/provide opportunities and solutions.You will steer convergence from isolated and integrated applications to the connected suite of cloud-based applications. This means assessing and recommending the convergence roadmap, the technology choices, migration plans and business models, taking into account the current situation/context of each unit and the market specific operational situation. Your recommendations will have a strategic impact for the long term development of Wolters Kluwer T&A Software within Europe. This position reports into the Managing Director Tax & Accounting Europe and is part of the management team.The position can be based in various European Countries.
