The Aerothermal Combustion Manager is accountable for functional, business, and broad company objectives for all of combustor aerothermal designs across GE O&G. In this role you will lead the growth/development of the global team, integrate / develop processes to meet needs of the organization, manage complex issues within combustion aero and across our Department / Engineering, and be involved in long-term strategic planning at organizational and technology levels. Essential Responsibilities The Aerothermal Combustion Manager - Advanced Technology will: Provide leadership and technical direction for Combustion Aerothermal program tasks and personnel; Provide support council and recommendations to management; Establish work group goals within framework of section technical and financial objectives; Build a global network both internal and external to the GE combustion community, including GE GRC and GE Aviation; Maintain broad awareness of efforts within group to assure technical quality excellence, timely completion of work and reviews, appropriate use of resources, and responsiveness to customer / program needs; Facilitate communication of technical and business information between organizations and within work group; Communicate with management on technical, organizational, re ...
